Mercoledì 5 febbraio nell’aula magna del nostro istituto le classi 3° hanno partecipato allo spettacolo teatrale “Brexit” sulla recente questione politica che ha prodotto diverse opinioni in tutto il mondo: i due attori, Tom Corradini e Samuel Toye, hanno interpretato un padre e un figlio, il primo rappresentante del partito a favore dell’uscita dello UK dall’EU e il secondo a favore della permanenza dello UK nell’EU. Ne è nata una satira politica con elementi di mimo, teatro e marionette rappresentanti personaggi politici. I due attori hanno colpito il pubblico non solamente con il semplice arredo costituito da due sedie, due poster e due marionette, ma anche per sottile umorismo usato per evidenziare la tensione e la frustrazione che la gente può provare in questo periodo politicamente travagliato. Al termine dello spettacolo è seguito un dibattito in cui i due simpatici attori hanno risposto ad alcune domande degli studenti.
On Wednesday 5th February in the “aula magna” of our school the 3 classes attended the show ‘Brexit’ about the recent political issue which has generated different opinions all over the world: the two actors Tom Corradini and Samuel Toye played a father and a son, the former representing the “leave the EU” party and the latter the “remain in the EU” one. What evolved was a political satire with elements of mime, physical theatre and two politically challenged puppets. The two men enchanted the audience not only by the simple use of two chairs, two puppets and two pull up screens, but also thanks to the sharp humour used to highlight the tension and the frustration people may be currently feeling in these troubled times. At the end of the show a debate followed and the two actors answered some questions from the students.
